Here we are four years later and parents are still left hanging, children are still dying and doctors are still ignoring what has clearly become a corupt and dangerous situation. how could anyone actually believe that an inquest into Sara Carlin’s death would [...]

No longer relegated to treat of mere depression, SSRI’s are now used (but not necessarily approved by the FDA — which means little these days) to treat: alcoholism, anxiety, anorexia, bulimia, chronic pain, dysthymia, fibromyglia, “inhibition of platelet activation”, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, migraines, obesity, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder, [...]

It seems that the Ontario Chief Coroner’s office has a history of problems with their doctors. What a shock! (eyes rolling up in head) Early this morning i posted an article about Dr. David Evans and his refusal to perform an inquest into the death of Sara Carlin. In a statement he made he said [...]

Fiddaman over at www.fiddaman.blogspot.com recently reported that Dr. David Evans has denied an inquest into the death of Sara Carlin daughter of Neil and Rhonda Carlin living in Oakville Ontario. Sarah died as a direct result of side effects and perhaps withdrawal from Paxil. Not surprising as many others have died of the same thing. [...]

Emory University psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Nemeroff, has been accused of breaking federal research rules by taking in $2.8 million from a drug company and not reporting half of the income.
At the same time, Nemeroff, one of the nation’s most influential psychiatrists, was overseeing a National Institutes of Health study on five anti-depressants produced by the [...]

The psychiatry world is belatedly exhibiting outrage toward a man whose ability to lure pharma cash seems to know no bounds. He may be the textbook case of a key opinion leader. Of course, I speak of Charles “Bling Bling” Nemeroff. Rather than list the many questionable at best behaviors he has exhibited, each of [...]

It really sends shivers down my spine when SSRI drugs are used to treat any condition that is not severe or life threatening. Paxil should be a last option! A risk you are willing to take when you have tried everything else and the condtion/disease is intolerable. My definition of intolerable is Paxil withdrawal hell. [...]
